Session 1

Resume, Cover Letter and e-mail writing

In this session, we will go through the principles and theory behind how to write an outstanding and relevant resume and cover letter, as well as make initial contact via e-mail. This is the first communication with the recruiter and poor use of English or grammatical errors are a highly negative reflection of the candidate. After this session you will have a good understanding of professional level written communication to recruiters. A tailored high quality cover letter and resume for you will be produced by us. We will also go through some job search techniques.

Session 2

Phone manner

From the phone interviews with Platinum trainees, we found that they do not have a good phone manner and sometimes sound unintentionally rude. This section is of critical importance because it is often used as a screening round for recruiters. During the training session there will be mock phone interviews By the end of this session, you should be confident in securing a face-to-face interview over the phone.

Session 3

Interview techniques

This session will focus primarily on behavioural interview questions as they are a key distinguisher of candidates. Other preliminary areas will include dress, manner, and body language. The session will go through 50 behavioural questions which will cover the major areas that recruiters might ask.
