– Introduce the concept of Excel Formulae & Cell reference

– Familiar with Calculation Formulae i.e. NPV, IPMT

– Familiar with Referencing Formulae i.e. V/H Lookup, Match, Indirect, Offset

– Familiar with Text, Date Formulae i.e. Use of Single & Double Quotation Mark, Concatenate, Text, EDATE

– Familiar with Formula Auditing and Evaluate Formula

Module 4 Reporting with Excel

– Introduce different reporting formats in Excel

– Produce customized reports using Pivot Table

– Enhance reporting needs by using advanced charting tools

– Build your own version of customized reports to tailor for specific needs

Module 5 Excel Models and Templates

– Introduces various applications of Excel models and templates

– Revisit topics learnt and assign appropriate context to them in order to successfully build an Excel model or template

– Work on the case studies prepared as a group in class

Module 6 Macro and VBA

– Introduce the concept of Macro and VBA

– Be capable of recording simple Macro

– Be capable of intergrading Macro in your Excel model or template
